THANK YOU VETERANS!

Veterans at PD Fight Club gather for a photo at Juarez Boxing

as they continue to battle Parkinson's every day!

Veterans Day is an annual observance of historic and patriotic significance. Celebrated on November 11th, Veterans Days is a time for us to give our respect and gratitude to those who have served and continue to serve our nation.

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 110,000 Veterans in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease. Many of our veterans with Parkinson's disease are actively involved with movement-based exercise programs throughout the state.

On behalf of the Parkinson Association of Alabama's board and staff, THANK YOU to all our service members and your families for your service. Thank you for your dedication and your sacrifice to keep our great country safe.
