New Parkinson's Support Group Launches in Liberty Park
A new, in-person support group will begin meeting Monday, March 6th at TherapySouth in Liberty Park (3800 River Run Drive, Suite 102, Birmingham, AL 35243). This new support group will serve the Liberty Park / Irondale area of Birmingham. It will meet at 5:15 p.m. beginning with movement exercises followed by an educational program on the first Monday of every month.
Facilitated by Kimberly Clark and Victoria Davis, you couldn't be in better hands. Kimberly is a certified LSVT BIG Physical Therapist, and Victoria is a certified Occupational Therapist. Both are very enthusiastic about serving the Parkinson's Community by demonstrating movement exercises and helping you prepare your home for safety to minimize fall risks.
This is also an excellent opportunity for those that work during the day to have an in-person support group available after hours in the early evening. However, everyone is invited including Care Partners to join this group.
