You joined the Parkinson Association of Alabama, Inc. and millions around the world who participated in the global generosity movement, Giving Tuesday, on November 28, 2023. The day unleashes the power in each of us to change our communities and our world. We asked you to kick off Giving Tuesday this year by giving specifically to the PAA cause and you did!
It was Giving Tuesday for millions, but for us, it is the work we do every day to make a difference in the more than 16,000 people living with Parkinson’s disease in the state of Alabama. Thanks to your selfless giving our Care Navigation program now works to serve our families, caregivers, doctors, and communities in search of the right care and resources to make real up-to-the-minute differences in their lives.
Twenty-five dollars will help maintain our online Parkinson's Disease Resource Center. $50 will sponsor a PAA Fighting for a Cure Distinctive License Plate. $100 will pay for boxing sessions for someone fighting Parkinson's disease. $500 assists with the cost of Care Navigation sessions. $1000 will help host lunch for our Regional Educational Seminar attendees.
