Dr. Yacoubian will talk about the “what, when, where, how, and whys” of clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease. She will discuss different types of clinical trials and reasons to consider participating in trials. She will also talk about current trials in progress at UAB, with a discussion of the large longitudinal NIH-funded study evaluating the role of inflammation in Parkinson’s disease.
