Parkinson's Associations
There are many national and regional Parkinson's Associations with resources available to you. At the Parkinson Association of Alabama, we pride ourselves on being your GO TO Resource for everything Parkinson's in Alabama. Each association has a special niche- when it comes to the resources they provide. We tap into these resources and try to highlight any that are relevant to you to spare you from needed to go to so many organizations. Below, we list the Association and explain how they can best be utilized as an arsenal of research and connection to learn more about Parkinson's. The PAA often partners with these organizations to ensure we bring you the most current and relevant PD information. Each have opportunities to subscribe to newsletters and tap into additional resources.
Parkinson Association of Alabama (PAA)
We are a non-profit organization serving the needs and concerns of patients with PD and their families/friends throughout Alabama. Staff engage in social and professional networking, fundraising, research support, developing and coordinating PD Support Groups, Outreach Services, PD webinars, newsletters, and this resource center to interact with the PD community in Alabama.

Cure Now: PD
CureNow: PD exists to be positive agents of change in PD research. The focus is on bringing full enrollment and participation to studies and clinical trials using a local network of Parkinson's ambassadors to make that happen.
