The 2014 Southern Symposium produced a convergence of thought leaders from around the country to discuss and explore Parkinson Disease research and treatment initiatives. The Parkinson Association of Alabama is committed to collaboration with PD organizations as a mechanism to augment the holistic search for a cure and we appreciate our President, Ken Cater, fulfilling this commitment by serving on the planning committee for this ambitious event. Montgomery resident and Nurse Practitioner Terry Watkins attended the event and provided a great recap that we encourage everyone to read..
